What should you do next?

Among the things you could do next, there are some good options and some less so. If you do something you want to do that is also good for you, you will be glad you did it. And your happiness would be the result of doing something worthwhile. So, if this is the case, get started on that thing.
But what if you're in the situation that many people find themselves in, where you feel compelled to do something regardless of how you feel about it? Sure, you have to do the next item on your to-do list, but why not make it worthwhile by giving it your complete, clear, and undivided attention?
Yes, you can do the laundry, the dishes, or send that email with the same clear focus that you would give a deep session of meditation. And then that task suddenly feels worthwhile.
And, of course, if you have a feeling that one of the things you could do next isn't going to be good for you, one that you might in fact regret, then you are free, truly free, to redirect your attention to something better right now.
