All You Have Is Your Mind

All You Have Is Your Mind

What are you doing in the time it takes to read this sentence?

Are you trying to change something about how you feel or the quality of your experience?

Are you hoping that this next word will cause something to change?

Whatever you're doing or hoping for in each moment, remember that you only have your mind.

There is an external reality, of course, but for you and me, our only point of contact with it is our minds.

So from your point-of-view, there is no place to stand inside or outside of your mind. Your direct experience is always limited to–you guessed it–your mind. There's only this bright circumstance of conscious awareness and whatever arises within it.

And if you pay close attention now, you will notice that consciousness does not have any of the issues that you are attempting to resolve.

Seen for what they are, the contents of consciousness come and go like waves on the ocean's surface.

So drop back and discover just how free you are. Now.
